We are increasingly seeing the merging of private tech companies and state power, a trend that makes my work on techno-realism even more relevant.
Techno-realism examines how technology has become the central force driving power accumulation for states. It’s no longer just a tool, but a critical means of distributing influence, both domestically and internationally.
This shift is especially evident in the growing reliance on private-public partnerships, where governments lean on Big Tech to maintain their global competitiveness.
This development raises important questions: Who truly holds power in this new landscape? How is influence shared between governments and corporations? How does this translate into an efficient policy?
